My name is Gen and event planning is my passion. You see it all began in 2013 when I was called to plan my grandmother’s 70th birthday celebration, and then, not long after, I was invited to plan a relatives wedding from start to finish. Everything went perfectly, I enjoyed every minute of it, and I was hooked! There is truly nothing that brings me more joy than helping someone turn their vision for their perfect event into a reality.
I created Weddings & Events by Gen with a simple goal in mind; to use my passion for events, my talent for planning, and my organisational skills to help you bring your next special event to life. Though based in Essex, we plan events in London and throughout the UK. I am here to take all the stress out of planning your big day. I love to help my clients tell their unique love story in a way that feels authentic while creating an experience for their guests that they will remember for years to come.
I truly believe that it’s those small details that can make an event truly unforgettable. When you work with me you will get so much more than a highly organised event planner with over nine years of experience, you’ll also benefit from my formal education within the industry. Most of all, you’ll be working with someone that is truly passionate about what they do. I love every aspect of the planning process including working with vendors, designing a menu, choosing décor, and more.
